Great Improvement Academic Services (G.I.A.S.) is an academic sports program that came to fruition in the summer of 2003. The brainstorm of Calvin Lowry an educator who has committed his career to the excellent of today's youth. Noticing there were a lack of quality programs throughout the metropolitan area a change was put into action. First, an establish group of highly qualified teachers and counselors were brought on. Next, establish a trustworthy parental base who believes and shares the same Christian Values and vision that G.I.A.S. shares. Finally, acquire the necessary tools to assess the needs of today's youth in order for them to excel.
G.I.A.S. offers reading, writing, math, chess, robotics, and phonics for our participants. Each child is assessed on their individual academic needs in order to service them better. Great Improvement also provides intramural sports such as; tumbling, baseball, soccer, jump rope, volleyball, golf, and basketball.
Believing that each child is very valuable and precious, we aim to create a lifestyle thats conducive for kids. We are committed to providing today's youth with the leadership and discipline to be productive citizens. At G.I.A.S. our mission is to come together for one goal and that is to seek wisdom and gain knowledge.
